The RDS shaft speed range of instruments provides an easy to use and cost effective method of monitoring up to 4 shafts at the same time.
The Shaft Speed 600 features programmable speed alarms on each channel, triggering an internal audible and visual alert if shaft speeds move outside the set limits. Using magnetic sensors on each shaft, the unit is calibrated to accurately display shaft RPM on the selected channel. It offers programmable high and low-speed alarm thresholds, helping operators quickly identify blockages, belt slip, or equipment faults before they become costly problems.
The Shaft Speed 600 also includes forward speed monitoring, plus partial and total area measurement for accurate job tracking in the field. An automatic cut-out switch prevents area accumulation when turning on headlands or during non-working passes, ensuring more reliable coverage records.
